the post office loses your ballot, some Republican judge round-files it, or your registration is challenged upon receipt - all without you ever seeing it to report. It takes the voter out of the loop and leaves them blind as to what happens beyond the mailbox.


ETA: Actually, I forgot about the possibility of enabling vote-selling by being able to now prove to a third party that you voted for their candidate.
