21. "Non-profit" simply means the top execs keep the profit instead of stockholders.
We have a "non-profit" big health insurer headquartered in my town. The execs have offices with private baths and gyms, marble walls, original art and hand carved desks made of rare woods. The same is true for the "non-profit" nationwide chains of nursing homes. They have senior staff conferences in the Caribbean. The term is a misnomer.
