As another data point, consider how often you now
see routine patrols dressed in full SWAT gear instead
of "friendly cop on the beat" blues. It's gotten to
the point that every railway station, bus station,
and airport has nothing but wanna-be Storm Troopers
strutting around inside.

This increasing militarization of our civilian
police forces can't help but bring and/or signal
trouble.
