That might explain your eagerness to write the cop a pass despite the fact he's already admitted to tasing the woman at least 7 times while she was cuffed.

One thing you ought to think about. You may be a cop but you're just a person. Jobs change, circumstances change, one day you're on one side of the law and the next, you might be defending yourself against some power crazed maniac in a uniform.

Life has a habit of turning around and biting you in the ass. Remember that.
