86. A threat to life while he was praying in church? If Roeder thought, in his sick,
twisted mind, that he was saving a life by committing murder, wouldn't it have made more sense to do it while prepping for the procedure? Or on the way to work? Or even on the way home? But in church?

If not for that fact, I wouldn't have been surprised if at least one juror, being that it was Kansas, would have held out for acquittal. But at church? It just had to have had an effect, even on any unreasonable fundamentalist.
