Stanton says, "I really believe that the president is doing everything humanly possible to protect this country."

Apparently "everything humanly possible" doesn't extend to doing practical things like chemical plant and tanker security (something the corporations don't want to pay for and Bush won't push for) or even getting one job done (i.e., dealing with terrorist threats in Afghanistan and Pakistan) before sinking billions of dollars and thousands of human lives into another (i.e., Iraq).

I find it ridiculous that people keep pretending that this administration is competent. They've screwed up virtually everything they've touched, and they really only stand for two things: self-righteousness and more money for their own pockets.
