I knew some victims of Satanic ritual abuse hysteria in the 1980s, when the hysteria was sweeping my area. It is scary how easily a completely false memory can be created, so that it seems more real than reality. I would need physical evidence before I believed a claim of this nature. Over and over again, the stories have been proven to be false. One of my friends has a terrible feeling of guilt, because she accused her mother of Satanic ritual abuse, for many years, before learning that she was instead the victim of an incompetent therapist. Everyone who went to this therapist ended up with Multiple Personality Disorder!

People think witch-hunting is a thing of the past -- stories like this one remind us that it still continues.

I don't know any Satanists who eat babies (much less eyweballs); they are harmless poseurs who like to get wasted and wear black. Seems like everyone should know this by now. Even the most cluefree prosecutor!
