5. rich people didn't get rich by being stupid;

doesn't take a whole lot to figure out that the world is not going to end in 2012, and that what money you have will be worthless if the defect isn't brought under control, and selling your debt to China is the capitalists who sold the rope they hung them with. Not to mention that if the middle class doesn't have any discretionary income you can't sell anything.
