Hastert Owes America An Apology
By RAY HANANIA

.......

Then, confronted with evidence that he did in fact know and was made aware of the sexually inappropriate comments Foley had made to the young teenagers, Hastert acknowledged he “may” have been told last year.

Now, probably at the urging of some GOP consultant, Hastert is demanding that the U.S. Justice Department investigate Foley, who resigned on Friday after he was confronted with the email text messages by ABC TV.

............

He doesn’t really care about whether or not young teenagers were being propositioned by Foley, one of the Republican floor leaders.

.......

Hastert owes the people of this county an apology. In fact, Hastert owes the people of Illinois and the people of his district an apology too. But more importantly, Hastert owes an apology to the young people of this nation who instead of receiving protection have been cast out into the cold night of politics and worse.

........

Sounds to me like Hastert is a big liar, too........
