1. This is one more of the major alarms
that have been going off on the march to whatever you would like to call the implied result.

There is also a strong movement towards reaping the rewards of prison labor, (innocuously called "insourcing") where prisoners are the cheapest, government/taxpayer-subsidized way to get "Made in America" into more households everyday.

The profit incentive has always meant that Draconian laws will continue to be legislated and that includes minimum mandatory sentencing and more long-term incarceration with no chance of parole. This is an earthquake-like shift in our system that, left unchecked, will further the emergence of the growing Military-Industrial, Fascist State.

Consider that, in this case, privatization actually equals a dramatic increase in the potential for you, or someone you know or love, to end-up in that self-serving system simply because the incentive is to increase profits.
