I watched both debates, in the House and in the Senate. With only 2 hours for debate, Democrats representatives try their best to make every seconds count. Some even share their 5 minutes so that other get a chance to speak on this. I think many are disappointed in not having the chance to speak at all. I say that they stand strong and true for the people of America.

I am truly shock at what I see today in the news, the tv, I cry for America. How can it be that the brave action of the elected representatives can be so twisted by the main media, how can they be attacked with such impunity. Have the main media pass the line off bi partisan reporting into downright misinformation. Has there been some violation of your freedom here as people who depend on they for true and factual reporting? I leave this thought to the lawyers here at DU.The most Historical event and yet.....

I read many post here where people in DU are so disappointed, I read many post of people saying they want to abandon the party ( of course many has only single, or double digit in numbers of post) I read too of the many that say the fight have just began.

Yes, they are right, the battle just started. Your elected representatives has fired the first shot. Its about the right to vote, it about changes that will preserve this right, its about the media blackout, its about the real war on terror.

Its not about Democrats or the Republicans, its not about religion, its not about race, its not about right and left, or liberal or conservative, its about peoples rights... cause we are all people.
