The reduction in deficits to $250 billion in 5 years (oh, is THAT all!) is based upon what?

Well, it would be based upon the estimates of the same people who said that 2 years ago the deficits would be $80 billion, and they turned out to be $210 billion (a 162.5% error), and last year the deficit would be $260 billion when they turned out to be $440 billion, or a 69.2% error. (All 12 month calendar year values.)

So, we're relying on the estimates of people who have already proven they can't estimate these revenues. And he makes an official state speech to that effect.
