Otherwise you are just a pilot trained to fly a plane that didn't see combat during the Vietnam war.

But I agree that flying a ANY plane is dangerous. More so when yer impaired, I gather.

Did he ever fly solo? There is a two-seat trainer of the F-102 (TF-102A), so the "The F-102 is a single seater, so he must have" argument holds no water for me.
