and while he is a Democrat, he's far from being "runaway" or whatever appelation Novak wants to smear him with. He's a long-time public servant who is near retirement age. Hardly some partisan firebrand careening out of control.

Rest assured that if Novak is working so hard to trash him, it's because the GOP are scared. From what I've read locally, prosecutors believe DeLay has been caught red-handed. His arrogance is about to catch up with him.

Oh, BTW, I know DeLay likes to run as a beacon of morality now, but in his days at the Texas state legislature, he was known as "Hot Tub Tom" for his many hot tub parties.
