how it reminded them of a time when things were pervaded by a strange kind of "heady, upbeat and electric energy" and when things were boundlessly optimistic, for reality would doubtlessly set in and we all would have to wonder if it would EVER again be that way in our lifetimes, with things like :nuke: terrorism not to mention even :nuke: war as possibilities we may all have to face.
