I did not say only fundie right wingers do this sort of thing but they sure seem to be the majority.

If that statement isn't blatent fear-mongering and a baseless accusation I don't know what is.

Being from a small Southern town, believe me, I know plenty of what you would call Fundie Rwingers. They may be politically errant but kitten killers and abusers they are not.

Of course, there may be some. I'm sure there are despicable people in any Party. To imply that somehow Rwingers have a monopoly is a statement backed by ignorance and hatred.

Let me give you a true example: My parent's neighbor (my neighbor as I was growing up) has been voting Democrat since the 1950's. He also would routinely drown the kittens on his farm when he would have an overpopulation, as he deemed it. As a child, I was horrified by that practice and would sneak kittens over to my house. Thank God my parents loved cats.

Now, can I, from that experience, infer that ALL Democrats are cruel and that somehow their political affiliation has something to do with that cruelty?

I may not agree with the Fundies politically, but I would never make such blanket statements. It would be akin to Freepers saying all Liberals are dope-smoking Communists who like nothing better than ripping children from mothers wombs and taking away all the guns.

Again, labeling such as that is dangerous and simplistic thinking.
