has to do with the fact that they are cruel to animals. Are you ready? Because this is SOLID:

1. The neighbor is a religious fundamentalist.

2. The neighbor killed a kitten for fun.

Do you get it?

No one has drawn ANY correlation between the two. No one has said religious fundamentalism causes people to kill kittens for fun. No one has said that religious fundamentalists are all kitten killers, or any such thing.

The POINT of the original post was that this DU poster has a religious fundamentalist neighbor who is always preaching how religious and right she is, and that this neighbor killed a kitten for fun.

This does not reflect on other religious fundamentalists, nor should it. But it reflects pretty damned strongly on the one who DID kill a kitten for fun, now doesn't it?

And as for how you can get this poster upset; this poster already IS upset, because A RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALIST KILLED A KITTEN FOR FUN IN FRONT OF HER NINE YEAR OLD.

So you did NOT make a valid point, and you did NOT win an argument today.

Perhaps tomorrow. We shall see.

If you're so sleepy, maybe you should be like the OTHER STUDENTS, and take lots of SPEED and METHAMPHETAMINES, and DRINK COFFEE, and then you wouldn't be so DAMNED SLEEPY.

That last part is a joke.
