THAT IS SO GODDAMN ACCURATE. We are the subject of relentless, nonstop propaganda. There should be no chance for us at all. Looking at those boundless pyramids, how can a human being feel anything except hopelessness? We are outmatched and the other side kills our leaders.

But here is the thing that my body/soul immediately conjures when I read your devastating words:

The ONE thing these fascists, in all their incarnations and varieties, have NEVER understood is the essense of the human spirit. Yes we are monkeys and monkeys are a fucked up animal. They aren't cats or dogs or horses. They like to laugh. Especially at pain. WE hurt each other and lie and steal and do things when no one is watching that we would not do when people are watching.

But we love our children. Almost everybody loves their children. And despite our cruelty, we are not inheriently cruel as a hobby. Cruelty is not what we are born craving. We are born craving love and warmth and...

They've never understood us. These gray zombies who have clusterfucked themselves into the cabal that is the Bush Administration are the last pharoahs. They are dead men and they want to bury us in the tomb with them.

But we don't want to go with them and we never have.
