Do these guys even read the freaking newspapers? Do they have ANY IDEA of what is happening? I guess they must not or else they might not be such fans of the boy king.

I spent 15 years active duty and planned to get out even before shrubco because the military was getting stretched rather thin even before the shrub. I tell anyone I know contemplating reserve or guard service that unless they PLAN on going to Iraq or Afghanistan for at least a year they should do something else, because they can pretty much COUNT on going.

Anyone who joins ANY branch of the military, active, reserve or NG, and assumes they are NOT going to go to Iraq or Afghanistan, is woefully uninformed, misinformed, or in serious denial.
