I missed last night's (dangit), but I've seen a few recently that made my jaw drop - all the way back to where Dave was trying to get the imposter on his show before the 2000 theft, and when he finally did, Dave asked the liar how he'd handle some big issue, and the dumb Texas jerk replied, with his sneering snicker, "fake it." Letterman laughed and said, "and that's how you'll run the country..."

I think Dave's been on board since the begining (on board meaning recongnizing what a sad excuse for a pResident we have been stuck with).
