7. It's been going on for years...
and it started a while ago, maybe the '70s, when a whole bunch of non-Christians mentioned that they had holidays, too, or didn't, but had no real probelm with a general holiday season.

So, many businesses started wit the Happy Holidays thing so as not to offend, and it kind of took off in places where there was a large multicultural population.

There are no "Christians" complaining about this. Churches have been bemoaning the secularization of Christmas for as long as I've been alive, but kept it inside the church. "Keep Christ in Christmas" has been around for years, but it's a message to church members, not to the general public.

The latest rash of public whining is not from the churches, it is from a small goup of instigators using religion to divide us all and pick up the pieces, gaining their own power in the process.

Make no mistake about it, anyone who makes a public display of this does NOT speak for the 1 1/2 billion Christians around the world. They are politicians and oligarchs of the worst sort, and the thin veneer of religiousity they wear is seen through by most real believers.
