There is, however, no mention on how he avoided the draft.

I would assume, however, that he had to have lost any student deferment when he dropped out of college.

More than likely he was inflicted with an ingrown hair on his butt or had other priorities or was beaten to the punch by all the minorities who had volunteered ahead of him... all actual excuses given by GOP chickenshits like Rush Limpbaugh, Dickless Cheney, and Tom DeRoach.

He should have been put in jail for his "dirty tricks" in his first campaign. "Turd Blossom" has bragged that he lied to become a mole in a local Democratic office, stole their letterhead, forged fake invitations to a party where he falsely advertised there would be wine and women for the taking, and then used the US mail to send them to the press.
