I'm hearing this more and more, and not just something like this, but the above sentence verbatim. I live in Republicanhellville, NM, and it seems that people have no reason to stick up for Shrubby-boy anymore. They just feel they have to do it for some reason, but can't justify it.

Other recent quotes I've heard from Republicans:

"We really need some better Republicans. I try to stick up for George Bush, but he makes too many mistakes."

"I voted for him, but he really is a dumbass."
