1. yes, I know your frustration with calling Congress people
but I believe it definitely does have an effect. If it is just you, then yes, your voice might be lost--but thousands or tens of thousands of calls, faxes, and letters can't be ignored. These people are supposed to be representing US, the people, so do continue to let them know how you feel. In addition, the legislators can't be expected to know every nuance of every issue. Our letters, calls, and faxes also serve to educate them.
