7. Wishful thinking, BUT...
First off, the notion of a "return of Camelot" is fanciful. The Kennedy "dynasty" has come and gone, and the "second generation" has proven itself to be less than a pale echo of the Jack-Bobby-Teddy triumverate. The Kennedy "Camelot" will no more come again than will King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Democrats and progressives will need to look for a new generation of leaders. (And, truth be told, isn't looking for that generation in a particular bloodline a little bit silly for the 21st Century? It's the Right that longs for a heredetary monarchy, and is trying to establish one at this time.)

Having said that, it is significant that Senator Kennedy is speaking out on this. Whatever one may say about Teddy, he's not one to make wild, unsubstantiated charges, nor one to speak unless he judges the time is right. We shall see what will happen here...
