...there is no rationalizing with them. I honestly believe they don't like gays and just use the Bible to justify their homophobia.

It's impossible for me to be nice or show any respect for people like that. I admire anyone with the patience to deal with those people, but it's really hard not to show my contempt when face to face.

I think people only change their opinions by their own personal experiences...it's hard to persuade someone to change their attitude and beliefs.
