What motivated them to go after Andy may have begun as a projection of their own scummy qualities onto the DU fund-raiser.
But it became clear very quickly that Andy was truly, seriously ill. They got their “proof,” but that wasn’t what they were after. They wanted to put a stop to what was being done here for other, much more nefarious reasons. These are mentally disturbed individuals.
