Called 4 Republican Congressmen today to sweetly ask if they were considering bringing hearings to the floor regarding the 'Downing Street Memo' (Henry Hyde, Pete Hoekstra, F. James Sensenbrenner & Duncan Hunter). After speaking to someone in Hunter's office (he is the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee), I asked if they had any statistics as to how many Young Republicans are signing up for either the Army or the Marines. I thought that they would be since both branches are having difficulties recruiting now. I told them that I was surprised not to see the President's two daughters serving their country in this time of need.
I was told that the Young Republicans usually prefer to go into politics. I said that I understood since the Administration is now run by men who have never served in combat either.

hahahahahaha
sorry (NOT) - just couldn't help it.

In a postscript - one of the offices asked me which organization I was calling for and I told them that I was a citizen of the United States - then was put on hold.....................hahahahahaha.
