It is the Bushes who have curried Clinton's favor in hopes that his charisma and humanity will rub off on their ugly, uncaring, inhuman public image.
He didn't plot to regain the stage. Since leaving the Presidency he has largely avoided the stage for reasons both personal and political. But wherever Bill Clinton goes, the stage comes to him.  |
