The last thing we need in a time of crisis is to pretend that getting stoned is good for you.

Getting stoned is just another form of denial and evasion. I don't think that a criminal law solution is appropriate for the problem, but I do have a problem with people representing that there is something positive about being high on chemicals of any type.

There isn't.

Stoners are stoners, and most people recognize exactly what that means. This is why Cheech and Chong and all of the subsequent spin offs were funny, because we all recognized the type. It usually isn't about advanced intelligence.
