3. Let me offer a jaundiced perspective
from South Mississippi. Folks in Louisiana were told they suffered because of their state and local officials incompetence. They also heard that Florida would do better because the governor was a republican and he worked well with the federal government. Then, lo and behold here comes a hurricane and bush's walk did not equal his talk. Adding insult to injury, Wilma was not as powerful or destructive as Katrina and the geography in Florida is more conducive to surviving Hurricanes then a large part of New Orleans. AND, jeb bush does not have to deal with his brother's incompetent lacky michael brown, who should be charged with negligent homicide for what he did after katrina.
