23. They say you should separate the man
from his policies. Hate the policies, but don't hate the man. Molly Ivins had a very nice editorial in the Oregonian newspaper today, and she was differentiating between the man and his policies. "he's not a bad guy", she writes, "but he's just wrong".

Sorry, I get an F- on that one. The policies EMERGE from the man. I'm unable to separate the two, no matter how hard I try.

So --- yes -- I'm marinating myself in good old fashioned hate, and nothing is going to change that until next November.
