10. Speaking from Cleveland
I love what Kucinich stands for. The only problem I see is that he has no clear cut plan for getting his ideals through Congress or dissolving any future Neocon resentment or disenfranchisement. He would end up becoming a liberal version of Bush and just as hated by the right. What would end up happening is that another Jimmy Carter would get into office, have no clear agenda for getting his vision through Congress, and would create a topsy-turvy political climate that becomes increasingly destabilized.

If we truly want to move the country closer to Kucinich's area of the political spectrum, we have to move the country there gradually, starting by moving towards the center again, and through getting a buy-in by the neo-cons on liberal issues, which means an open bi-partisan dialogue. Kucinich's strategy is to not worry about the means and just assume that everyone agrees with the ends. Sorry, but the real world doesn't work that way. We need a centrist President right now. Maybe after his second term, we can have a more liberal President like Kucinich. Doesn't mean that I don't love what he does as a Representative.
