5. another "George meets Liz" joke ...
When the Queen was visiting Washington D.C. during the elder Bush's presidency, Bar did her best to keep her eldest son from disrupting the proceedings. Well-lubricated with cocktails, he managed to evade his mother and popped up beside the royal guest -- introducing himself as "the black sheep of the family". Ignoring her withering glare, he then inquired, "who's your black sheep?"

Skip forward to Bush's first presidential visit to England, almost 2 decades later. Historical researchers had established by then that the Bushes are actually distant cousins (13th?) of the Windsors.

"Hi, remember me?", George W. inquired, as soon as the press were a safe distance away. "I certainly do," the Queen said. "We've checked about my family and the black sheep. It's still you."
