He met her after he and his other longtime s/o broke up.. Her name escapes me, but she is a comedienne/writer, and she wanted to move back to LA, and he did not ...

He has always been a private person, and if you notice, he ususally does NOT pry into the super private parts of his guests' lives either..

If they have done some boneheaded thing in public, he will ask them, but other than that, he respects other people's privacy..

Dave is a class act..I wish him and his s/o the best.. Hope they have a healthy and happy little baby.. As much as I would miss him, I could really understand if he decided to hang it up after the baby is born..

He has had a heath scare (his own father died young) and his mother is getting up there.. He may just want to take a few years off to "smell the roses".. Why not?? He has more money than any human could spend in a lifetime.. The only thing it cannot buy him is TIME
