I promptly switched to Dish Network and never looked back. I get more channels - including the Encore channels (not Starz, however) and The Movie Channel (two different channels) in my package for no additional cost. In addition, I got a digital video recorder (equivalent to TiVo) for free (I still have to pay $5 / month to use it). Plus, I get local broadcast channels free with the package I have.
