losers trying this tired scam, and it pisses me off that it's so authentic looking, you just know some people are getting jacked out of a lot of money. :grr:

My sister got taken by some scumbag on eBay. She was buying a gift for her boyfriend's birthday and dropped $300 on football tix that never materialized. She wasn't the high bidder and lost the auction. However, someone else had kept track of the bidding, saw that she had been a bidder, emailed her telling her that the original bidder never paid, and that according to PayPal "rules" she was now obligated to send money via Western Union for these tickets because she was next in line behind the winning bidder. He said if she didn't, he'd give her bad feedback and she'd be thrown off eBay.

It was the first time she used eBay. She didn't know that you never, ever conduct a transaction via email using Western Union to the UK. :spank:
