45. Oh, I've long since embraced my inner old fogey.
Where do we start?

I believe in writing thank-you notes, though I must confess I sometimes put it off too much.

The right response to "Thank you" is "You're welcome," NOT "No problem." :grr:

I don't believe in automatically addressing people by their first names, particularly clients, and got two of my co-workers (and at least one client) laughing when I used the honorific "Mr." on a regular client.

The teacher is in charge in the classroom.

Children deserve kindness, protection, and guidance, NOT "respect."

I despise cell phones more than I can say.

I do not own an ipod.

There's a rich variety of films with subtitles, and/or in black and white, that are very much worth your time. Ditto for things made during the Production Code.

When I see a character humiliated in a movie, my reaction is to cringe and/or feel empathy, not to laugh at him/her.

Flip flops don't belong at the office unless you have injured your foot and can wear no other sort of shoe.

I don't care to see yards of naked flesh, plentiful exposed tattoos, and underwear on display at work (I'll bet you want directions to my office).
