GODCRAP if my local rockline affiliate has to be a shit Cum Channel station! FUKU Gator! (What a STUPID name for a radio station! I so can't wait for Howard Stern to go to satellite AND DESTROY THIS RADIO GA GA ALREADY!) And appologies to Gaturd listeners since you will be hearing something OTHER than the extremely annoying Howard Stern clones Boob & Tum and the same 12 overplayed crap songs!

Brian May, Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers will be live (interviewed together) on Rockline, broadcast from Nashville 10:30pm -12:00 midnight CT Wednesday 12 October (8:30 - 10:30 pm Pacific) - the show is 90 minutes and wil be hosted by Bob Coburn. Calls will be taken from fans, though no audience of fans in the studio. Interview and questions only - no performance. (THAT SUCKS!)

Many thought it would never happen, least of all Brian May, Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers. Queen touring without Freddie Mercury? Blasphemy! Or is it really? In the autumn of 2004, the three performed together at the first annual U.K. Music Hall of Fame Awards in London with incendiary versions of "We Will Rock You", "We Are The Champions" and "All Right Now". These storied musicians felt the energy as much as those in attendance and that performance turned into an idea, which turned into reality. On the heels of a tremendously successful 32 date series of shows in Europe, Queen + Paul Rodgers are headed to the states for a brief bicoastal run in the Meadowlands and at Hollywood Bowl. The band is augmented by Danny Miranda on bass, Jamie Moses on second guitar and Spike Edney (a long time Queen sideman) on keyboards. There is a multitude of websites for you to peruse, including

The new double live Queen + Paul Rodgers CD "Return Of The Champions" is in stores now and features songs from Queen's vast library as well as those from Paul's storied career, including songs from Bad Company and Free. Queen has sold 31.5 million albums in the U.S. alone. Paul Rodgers is considered to be one of the most listened to, and influential, voices in Rock history with his aforementioned bands as well as The Firm and in his solo career. Between them, they have recorded over 50 albums and sold in excess of a staggering 200 million worldwide. A DVD is due to be released on October 31th from the same show in Sheffield, England where this 27 song set originated. At the end of the year Queen will commemorate the 30th anniversary of "Bohemian Rhapsody" with a special DVD and CD release of the album from which it came, the classic "A Night At The Opera". Bo Rhap, as the band called it, was first released December 7th 1975.

John Deacon has retired from touring, but has given his mates his blessing. One of the many reasons this project works is because at no time does Paul ever attempt to replace, or be, Freddie Mercury. This is a new band, with a heritage like no other. The music shimmers and rocks, the chemistry is palpable and the overall experience is unforgettable. The Champions have returned and you can speak with them on the next ROCKLINE!

All three will co-host The Eddie Trunk Classic Rock Hour on VH1, along with Eddie Trunk - chatting about/introducing classic rock videos - mostly their own, but some from other artists, also talking about the tour and the Champions video, which will also be played. Expected to be a fun show.
