fall and winter, darker pinks and berries. Spring and summer, corals, lighter pinks...

Toes are always painted. Unless my feet are tan, which is exceedingly rare, they're colorful. I'm so pale I'm almost blue, so I like a little zing of color wherever I can get it.

I also usually have a very light color on my nails - Revlon now has a two-set that I really like - a super-sheer pink (almost nude) with a top coat that helps the color stay for 7-10 days (and NOTHING ELSE I've ever tried stays that long, not even professional manicures). I use my hands a lot - seven cats, live in a rural area, etc., and this polish stays on no matter what. Never chips, the only time I re-do it is when my nails have grown enough for it to bother me (don't like the un-painted look at the back of my nails).
