I understand it's solid, exciting entertainment with a well-written script and, of course, a dynamite cast.

Akeelah and the Bee intrigues me and is something I would support seeing on principle. Besides, I haven't seen Angela Bassett in anything lately.

A fair number of people on DU have bashed United 93 before seeing it, but I don't belong to that camp. Having seen director Paul Greengrass's Bloody Sunday (shot more or less in Dogma 95 style), I can respect his work. The problem is that I think the film is going to be particularly traumatic for me, for a variety of reasons. I still might see it, though.

I can't think of a single reason to see Mission: Impossible III. I didn't like the TV series, and Tom Cruise gives me the galloping creepies.
