There was a piece on ABC's Nightline last night about a family that felt suffocated with the daily grind of long hours at work and working harder and harder to buy more and more crap they don't need. What they did was quit their jobs, sold their house, and bought a RV.

They homeschool their kids and drive around the country and have visited countless national parks, museums, cultural events. They feel they are giving their kids a real education, something they can't get in books. They seemed very, very happy.
