2. Thinking about it brings tears to my eys.
I want to do something nice for them. Trouble is whatever they want, and they truly don't "want" much, they can buy. Does a thank you card really mean a lot after someone gives up five hours of their day off in the service of others?

I should add that this brother in law is also a mensch when it comes to his mom. She has alzheimers and if it wasn't for him she'd be on the street. His brother would have long cleaned her out but my bro in law is there to make sure her bills are paid and she eats and takes her meds.

I've never felt close to him until I talked with him yesterday.

Goes to show you don't ever know....
