It is not. It is a sport of people finding and killing animals. If you think it is not immoral to kill animals (and I don't) then you may as well say bowling is cowardly because the pins cannot fight back. You may draw a moral distinction between pins and hogs, but hunters have a different value judgment on that matter. Either way, it has nothing to do with cowardice.
