People who sleep with spouses/SOs/whatever--How do you sleep?
Advertisements [?]
My parents sleep with a wall of blankets, practically, between them, not because the living situation is tense but because my mother cannot bear to be held/touched/whatever in the night, especially now that she's cuckoo with hot flashes, et. al.--she says my father gives off way too much body heat. When my father is gone overnight I sometimes sleep in her bed for company (I'm an only child who's always slept alone, and I sometimes get neurotic as hell at night and like to know that another breathing human being is next to me), and I still sleep way the hell over, several feet away from her, despite the fact that I don't give off much body heat at all.

That said, I've known people who apparently sleep in each other's arms each night, every night, which is odd for me to wrap my mind around--my parents are not nearly that physical.

How do you sleep, usually?
