1. When we first got married
we slept in each other's arms. Then I got pregnant and suffered from insomnia. I got use to sleeping on the couch. After I had my son, all three of us slept in the same bed, but now I slept with my arm around my son. Then pregnant again, same thing, insomnia. My daughter refused to co-sleep, so I kept her in a bassinet by the couch, my son and husband slept in our bed.

Now five years later I can only sleep with my husband when it is winter. We live in Florida and it is too hot during the summer for me to sleep next to anyone. Also I work 11pm-7am, my husband works 6am-3pm, so we don't have the chance to sleep with each other if we wanted to.

When our kids move out, I'm setting up a room for myself. I love my husband dearly, but just sleep much better by myself.
