I was at a party and it was for a woman turning 40. Her and her hubby are cool. But, man, the rest of the party was full of assbag conservatives. I heard two guys bitching about the idea of negotiating with hezbollah until the conversation switched to bitching about Mexicans (And I'm in Canada, for fuck sakes). Another guy took a sip of his martini and said it was, "Refreshing." Thank god my buddy showed up with his GF and we just sat in the corner until we were there long enough to not be rude when we left.
