23. on this list, the Thanksgiving Turkey, dead however my favorite holiday specific food
from growing up was always coconut cake, ambrosia and boiled custard, THE DESSERT for Christmas dinner. Period.
Even if we also had: jam cake, German Chocolate Cake, Granny's chocolate brazilnut cake, my aunt's divinity and fudge and my other grandmother's Norwegian cookies, and several kinds of pie.

Coconut cake, ambrosia and boiled custard are the BOMB.

I also am very fond of home made dinner rolls, which are an essential part of holiday meals.

my mom also always made a to die for frozen fruit salad, and there was always a country ham
