37. I can't imagine drinking alcohol at this point.
It's been so many years since I could safely drink that it's just not something I would do anymore. So, I am definitely fortunate in that one regard. I won't be feeling sick or hung over any time soon. :P

You're right. Pain totally shuts down everything you're thinking, and everything you're doing, and everything you want. All you want is for the pain to at least go down. x(

There was a time when I was too stuborn to take pain killers. I insisted on toughing it out. I did not want to be dependent on medication. I can't do that anymore. I want the pain to go down too much, so I take the painkillers when I need them. Pain forces you to compromise. :(
