4. Well, in terms of civilian deaths...

... it's likely the occupied territories of Palestine. Four times as many civilian Palestinians have died as civilians in Israel.

Iraq might be second, or first. Since the US forces have not been reporting civilian or resistance deaths, it's hard to determine if the total death toll in Iraq is worse. Anecdotal evidence suggests that it is.

Every war zone is dangerous. Numbers shouldn't count, but we in the US seem to think that death totals are a reasonable measure of suffering, as long as they aren't our citizens.
